Hi there.
I know this subforum usually contain info from the International AO or Korean AO upcoming content but maybe I would put this question here.
If this is not the correct place please just help me move it to the right one. ;)

Anyway, my country's server is going to have a My Home and Troy patch.
I've seen a lot of TBS video and kinda understand about it a bit.
But, I don't get even the slightest idea about My Home.

What is My Home?
As far as I know, it helps your craft workload but how? In what way?
The cost of My Home here is predicted to be a fixed 500 mil.

And can those home be entered with our char?
Are there furnitures?
Because, some players are complaining already in the publisher's forum saying, "GM! Don't patch My Home! You are turning this MMORPG into The Sims!"

Thank you if you kindly give me some details. :D

Ultimately Myhome is worthless.

The greatest benefit I've gotten from them is the ability to not have to use will to teleport; say when someone
wants to share origin or trade items. Instead of having to teleport to a town you just meet at your house
and you don't lose any will.

Other than that its a huge financial drain. You have to spend thousands, if not millions, of dollars, in the form of earth, sea, flame
or storm elements to recharge your craft NPC's energy so they can continue to craft.

Your mercs gain XP every hour they're at your house, but you have to give them elements or Atlas ore before they gain the xp.

Upgrading to a mansion costs another 500mil plus whatever it costs to raise the value of your house to the level
you need in order to buy a mansion.

You make money off whatever garden you choose: lumber, mine etc... but that's only in the beginning.
As soon as more and more people get a house you start to lose money.

In affect, you will never make the money back that you spend on a house EVER!

So... My Home can make some money but when everyone have a house then I will earn less? :?:
How can it be affected?
I'm kinda curious here because I'm thinking about getting a house later when I've collected the money.
But, if it is worthless then I would use my gold for another better choices. :)

About the cost to upgrade to mansion: It costs 100 atlas ore, not 500mills. Atm it costs 500mills because atlas is around 5M in our servers.

Evil items (weapons and armors) will come with the my house patch, because you need to craft and dismantle basic furniture to get craftsman's soul which is a item needed to craft evil gear (level 131).

Basically you CAN make money in my house by:
Crafting and dismantling basic furniture to sell craftsman's soul;
Crafting and selling "[Common]" feast items: Tea party and Sushi feast;
Selling resources from facilities (Brown Rice, Mint, Magnetite and Ginkgo Wood), since those resources are used to make the furniture and feasts.

I see.
So it can generates craft item for level 131 gears and that's why the more people have a house the less it makes money.

But now I wonder why my server want to patch this My Home so fast.
I don't think that my server has level 131 patched yet and not even in a short time. :?

Anyway, can I craft furniture or feast without having a house?
So... are those craft skills unavailable in the usual craft window and just appear on my home feature?

This is kinda get my interest now.

And for the upgrade, thank God that in my server atlas ore still cost 1.2 mil (last week).
Is there any special requirement besides atlas to upgrade house?

OMG! 1.2 mil for atlas - *drooling*
"My Home" is absolutely worthless imho. You can make money from it, but you cannot return the investment of 1b in the house :)

It deppends a lot on economy of the server... It varies a lot from server to server. And you can get "craftsman's souls" form market at "like fixed" prices. Rest only out of my home craft.
140 level cap comes with the my home patch.

And IMAO it worths a lot to have a home... but wathever, I will not teach the priest to pray the Mass...

Hm...
Perhaps I would just let my guild friend have it first and ask for his opinion.
Anyway, can we visit other's home if we don't have a house? :?:
And, where will those home located anyway?
Inside the city?

You can visit anyone with a house even if you don't have one.
The house will not exist within the game in a physical location.
You'll have a button on your screen that looks like a house and that's where it is.

You're friend's opinion is going to be based on the immediate release of Myhouse not 6-8 months after the release.

You can store up to 3 mercenaries in a house and 6 in a mansion.
However, if atlas ore is 1.2mil on your server then its possible extra mercenary room licenses are cheap too,
so you could just as easily get 3 merc room licenses for much less than the cost of a house.

You can also store mounts at your house too.

A house provides you with one "MORE" way to grind yourself a fortune,
whether you're building furniture and dismantling it, jack potting items to sell, crafting equipment to sell or dismantle
you've still got to grind in dungeons to do all this unless you item mall which is the fastest way to get pixel money.
The Myhome feature just gives you another way to do the same ol' thing.

I have plenty of people in my guild that don't have houses and their gameplay is not affected in any way nor will it be!

I fully agree.
