[Tactical Battle System Basics]
* Each character can move and take one action each turn.
Actions include Basic Attacks and magic.
(There is no Action Power in TBS.)
* When it is a character's turn to move, green squares display their range of movement.
A character may only move before they take their action for that turn.
* Red circles indicate the character's attack range. kThese squares will appear after your character has moved or when you hold down the Ctrl key.
Different characters have different attack ranges.
* Move the mouse cursor to a square within the movement range and hold the Ctrl key to see your character's attack range from that square.
* If you are able to move and the monster is close enough, you can attack the monster by clicking on it. Your character will move the minimum necessary distance and attack.
* Each spell has a different effective range. If you press a spell's shortcut key, its range will be displayed. If a monster is in range, you can simply right-click to use the magic assigned to shortcut key Q.
* When a spell is selected, its range is shown in light blue and its area of effect in dark blue. The area of effect will follow your mouse cursor.
* Press ESC or right-click to cancel magic.
* If you want to set a trap during battle, you need to have one in your inventory.
* A weather display in the upper-right indicates the direction and strength of the wind and the weather.
Fires spread faster when winds are strong, and continuous rain will trigger floods.
